WorkPlayDate’s Five Favorite Things

Meeting up with Angela Agabao, the designer, creator, and founder of Bay Area-based accessory line “WorkPlayDate” made me realize two things.

1. She is one the most bad ass and beautiful designers I know

2. I really need to get in on this crazy blossoming foodie scene of San Francisco.

We traveled along the up and coming Valencia St. neighborhood, ate Belgian fries at Frjtz,  chowed on morning buns at Tartine Bakery, and plotted our next sugar tooth-craving attack to be satisfied at Bi-Rite Creamery. But…what was even more interesting and eye-catching than the irresistable food in the Mission was the gorgeous and glamourous accessories that Work Play Date had to offer. We chatted about her one-of-a-kind designs which are sold at unbelievably afforable prices. Her rack of beautiful wares can be found at San Francisco’s most popular accessory trunk shows and with one look, it’s really no wonder why Work Play Date has been buzzed about as a local favorite on the San Francisco Chronicle and SF IndieFashion. Her pieces have even been styled and featured on Grammy-Award winning House DJ Sharam’s music video, too.
